Beanie and Blouse: SUO Boutique, Pants: Target (similar here and here) , Shoes: Sperry Top Sider via Nordstrom Rack (similar), Purse: kate spade

Guys, I am pretty sure I found my new go-to weekend outfit. I’ve had these pants from Target and leopard boat shoes for a pretty long time now and they never fail when it comes to comfort. However, I came across this ridiculously comfortable blouse and this super cute slouchy beanie from one of my favorite boutiques in Orange County (Birch St in Brea if you are familiar). I tend to shy away from things that fit a little loose, but you know what, we all need those pieces that allow us to feel unrestricted. I think my favorite part about this look is the color combo. Red and black with white and brown accents… it doesn’t get more classic than that.

Everyday Makeup Routine

Drugstore: Neutrogena Sunscreen, Garnier BB Cream, Revlon Liquid Eyeliner, Almay Lipgloss

Sephora: Tarte Concealer, Benefit Brow Gel, Makeup Forever Mascara, Urban Decay Pencil Eyeliner, Urban Decay Blush and Highlighter

I am not a makeup expert at all, in fact I love watching Youtuber’s (Dulce, Ingrid, and Nicole are my favorite). Considering that I am still learning so much about makeup, I feel like I have established a pretty solid everyday routine for myself. I took a before and after picture down below. The before picture is me literally just out of bed in my favorite polka dot PJ dress (obviously). The after picture was using all the products above, which takes no more than 5 minutes! Note, I don’t use a powder because I love how the BB cream makes my skin look dewy.  If you have any questions about the products above let me know in the comments!

Pleated Skirt + Statement Necklace

Shirt: H&M, Skirt: SUO Boutique (similar), Shoes: BP. Nordstrom, Necklace: Bauble Bar

I’ve been craving a knee-length pleated skirt for a few weeks now. It is so ladylike and it flows so pretty with every step! I was so happy I came across this one at one my favorite boutiques. I styled it with a simple gray tee and my black boots, but I kicked it up a notch with my amazing statement necklace from Bauble Bar. I think this skirt can easily be worn to work or to a party, so I definitely plan on wearing this multiple times this season :)

If you have a similar skirt, I would love to know how you style it?

Boyfriend Cardigan: 2 Ways To Wear It

Outfit 1: Cardigan: Target, Jeans: Articles of Society, Shoes: BP. Nordstrom, Purse: Jessica Simpson Collection; Outfit 2: Dress: Target, Beanie: Forever 21

So let me tell you a little story. This week, my boyfriend and I decided to get ramen in Little Tokyo, and since I was going straight after work I didn’t want to go to dinner in my blazer. Instead I wanted to wear something just a little more comfortable. So I told him to bring me a sweater, preferably a cardigan. He ended up bringing me this preppy one, which I have always loved on him (that is probably why he brought if for me.) As soon as I put it on I fell in love. There is something about men’s cardigans that just fit so much better. If you are looking for the perfect oversized and slouchy fit, and you love that borrowed-from-the-boys kind of look, then I would highly suggest shopping in the mens section.

The next morning, I wanted to wear it to work because, like I said, I was in love. So I paired it over this dress, which I recently wrote a post on two different ways to wear it and now I have shown you three ways…. so basically if I haven’t convinced you that a striped shift dress is a must-have, well then I don’t know what will!

What types of things from the men section do you like to wear?

Polka Dots and a Floppy Hat

Dress and Hat (similar): Windsor, Shoes: BP Nordstrom, Purse: kate spade

When I walked into Windsor, I’m pretty sure I saw a big flashing neon sign over this dress that said “Adry.” It’s my favorite print, plus I love its flowy and slightly retro silhouette. It is still a tad warm so I just paired it with booties and a super cute floppy hat. When it starts to get cold, I think this would look really cute with tights and a faux fur vest or cardigan!
